Jahleen Turnbull-Sousa
Jahleen is a writer-editor with over 12 years’ experience in crafting and polishing medical and healthcare materials, business communications, and web publications. She is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Editing Certificate program and a member of Editors Canada, Plain Language Association International (PLAIN), and the Canadian Freelance Guild (CFG).
Jahleen works on a diverse range of writing and editing projects and genres, including medical-legal assessment reports, educational healthcare materials, and online publications. Her clients include medical assessment firms, healthcare practitioners, medical educators, business owners, and international online brands.
Jahleen lives with her husband and cat in their century home in Toronto’s Davenport village. When she’s not working or volunteering, she battles the weeds for control of her garden and loves to try out new whole-food recipes. She’s also a hobbyist singer, award-winning poet, and recently renewed piano student.
